Turo + Hobbs & Shaw
Identifying the Fast & Furious franchise as a harmonious brand partnership opportunity with Turo, we took our learnings from our previous Paramount partnership (Transformers: Bumblebee) but decided to up ROI and lower production scope with a clip-driven spot.
Working closely with the in-house NBCUniversal production team, we created “You can drive this”, bringing the signature high-octane energy from the F&F franchise down to earth and making it accessible to the audience. Showcasing the various cars featured in the film that are also bookable on Turo, we spun a nice, direct-response-y narrative that had the added benefit of absorbing some of the star power of the film talent (Dwayne Johnson & Jason Statham) into Turo the brand.
Analyzing the performance showed that the commercial outperformed our existing TV spot by 30%.
The campaign also included a landing page with curated inventory and an email campaign to drive awareness of and engagement with the partnership.
